FlareMail protects you from the quiet surveillance baked into a lot of email. These controls live in Settings → Privacy and are on by default.
- Block remote images — stops emails loading external images until you choose to. A “Load images” banner appears instead.
- Tracking pixel protection — detects and blocks invisible 1×1 pixels senders use to see when you open a message.
- Link tracking warnings — flags links that use redirect-based tracking before you click them.
Mail you send is different: FlareMail embeds a unique inbox-placement pixel so you can tell whether Gmail or Outlook put your message in the inbox or spam. That measurement lives in Settings → Inbox placement and does not turn off these inbound protections. See Inbox vs spam tests.
